Natalia Shutiak

I am a Ukrainian abstract artist currently living and working in Chicago. I hold a Master’s degree in Art Education and spent over 20 years working as an art director and designer. In recent years, after moving to the United States, I have fully devoted myself to painting as a form of honest and open self-expression. My works are rooted in deep emotional experiences and personal convictions. Inspired by nature, music, and personal transformation, I create abstract compositions that explore fluidity, struggle, and the search for balance and beauty in today’s unpredictable world. Each painting is an opportunity to voice my doubts, anxieties, restlessness, and hopes.
My works are now part of private collections in Ukraine, Europe, and the United States, and the creative process itself helps me shape a new reality in a new world.
