Nataliya Andreeva Salihovic

I am a visual artist and Professor of Painting and Drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Sarajevo. I work with acrylic, oil, watercolor and ink, exploring flowers, landscapes and the human figure.

My work has gradually moved from academic realism toward a freer and more expressive visual language. I am interested in the space between reality and imagination, when recognizable forms begin to dissolve into colour, light and movement. Whether I paint a figure, a landscape or a bouquet, I try to capture not only what I see, but also the feeling and atmosphere behind it.

I am a member of the Association of Visual Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association of Visual Artists of HKD Napredak, and the Vienna Arts Society. My work has been presented in numerous exhibitions and international art projects and is held in private collections.

2015 - Bachelor of Arts in Painting, Academy of Fine Arts, University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Awarded the University of Sarajevo Gold Badge for outstanding academic achievement at both levels of study.
