Line sits at the heart of my practice. Through drawing, painting and mixed media, I use line as a way of exploring identity, connection and what it means to be human.
As a woman, mother, wife, daughter and open-water swimmer, my work is shaped by everyday experiences and a fascination with the many roles we inhabit throughout our lives. I am interested in how we express who we are through gesture, presence, attitude and the stories written into our bodies and faces.

Each has its own character, temperament and way of occupying space. They remind me of our shared humanity and our endless capacity for growth, resilience, vulnerability and change.
Alongside flowers, I explore the female figure, portraiture, swimmers and wild-water places. BA (Hons) Fine Art
City & Guilds Qualification in Printmaking
My formal education in Fine Art and printmaking established a strong foundation in drawing, observation, material understanding and visual enquiry. While trained across a range of disciplines, my practice has remained rooted in a fascination with the expressive potential of line and the human figure.
Education for me is an ongoing process. Life drawing continues to play a central role in my work, informing my understanding of gesture, posture and the subtle visual language through which we communicate who we are. My mixed media practice is driven by experimentation, curiosity and a willingness to allow materials to behave in unexpected ways, revealing new possibilities through the act of making.
