Natalja Picugina is a Latvian painter known for her collectible miniature artworks and expressive contemporary paintings inspired by travel, nature, and everyday moments.
For more than fifteen years, she has been creating original ACEO and miniature paintings, transforming small formats into richly detailed worlds filled with color, atmosphere, and emotion. Working primarily in oil and acrylic, she combines impressionistic brushwork with a strong sense of storytelling, inviting viewers to step into scenes of romance, nostalgia, and quiet beauty.
Her work is inspired by the places she loves—from the Baltic coast to the streets of Venice, London, Paris, and Santorini—as well as by changing seasons, city lights, umbrellas in the rain, and the poetry of ordinary life.
Natalja studied art with artists from Latvia, Russia, and Eastern Europe and holds a university degree in History. She has taught art to both children and adults and continues to explore new techniques while remaining dedicated to traditional painting methods.
