Nella Fauve

Nella Fauve is a Czech-born artist based in Paris, whose abstract figurative paintings challenge traditional perceptions of the female form. Through fluid yet deliberate brushstrokes, she explores transformation, identity, and the body’s refusal to be confined by societal expectations. Her work rejects the reduction of femininity to mere sensuality, instead embracing its strength, complexity, and constant evolution.

Each painting is a story of movement—figures dissolving and re-emerging, shifting between presence and absence, vulnerability and power. Inspired by feminist ideals, personal introspection, and a deep connection to organic forms, her art invites the viewer into a space where the human body is both familiar and untamed, unrestricted by convention.

Secondary School of Fine Arts and Design, Prague

Nella Fauve received formal training in fine arts and design at the renowned Secondary School of Fine Arts in Prague, an intensive academy-style institution where she specialized in traditional and contemporary artistic techniques. This early immersion in the arts laid the technical foundation for her evolving creative vision.

Charles University, Prague – Faculty of Education, Fine Art Department

Continuing her artistic exploration, she pursued fine arts at Charles University in Prague, where she deepened her conceptual approach, moving beyond technical mastery to embrace artistic philosophy, experimentation, and the power of visual storytelling. It was here that her work began shifting toward abstraction and the deconstruction of the female form as a means of challenging social narratives.
