The Nellli

Nelli is a visual artist from Armenia whose practice spans painting, ceramics, and object-based media. Her work investigates the relationship between memory, identity, and space through symbolic imagery and psychological narratives.

With the soul of an explorer, she approaches art as a way to feel, reflect, and understand — not just the external world, but the internal one. In the act of creation, she becomes fully immersed, distanced from reality, and unified with the canvas or material.

Each piece is part of a larger, ongoing inquiry into the nature of human emotion, the weight of memory, and the complexity of personal experience. Horses, childhood objects, and architectural elements often recur in her compositions as visual metaphors for tension, movement, and psychological space.
