Nima Nezafati

Nima Nezafati is a geologist, archaeometallurgist, academic, and self-taught artist based in Germany.
Alongside his scientific work, he explores art through a variety of media, including mixed-media, drawing, and handcrafted objects.
Inspired by archaeology, cultural heritage, nature, and the character of different materials, his work often draws on historical traditions while remaining open to diverse artistic influences.
He sees art as another way of observing, interpreting, and communicating the world.
