Nicholas Bonamy

Nicholas Bonamy was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where he continues to work. His work is mostly inspired by his home town and this can be seen in the many layers, textures, patterns, and imperfections in his paintings. He is currently working on a series inspired by American history, polotics, and pop culture, that seeks to examine the similarities and differences between now and then. His work subtly questions what Americans collectively consider "progress", and how this reflects on Americans as a people and a culture.
