Nicky Edwards

Nicky Edwards creates contemporary fine art work. She is inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds her home in Sussex. Nicky strives to convey her own perspective on the worlds most beautiful organic scenes of land, sea and sky. The depth and detail of Nicky's impasto style paintings often communicate beyond words, expressing a language of colour, shape and emotion projected in each individual brush stroke.

Nicky embraces various methods of infusing texture into her paintings which often include using multiple layers of acrylic paint. She loves working with earthly colours that radiate in to a room, releasing a sense of movement.

In 2006 Nicky gained a BTEC National Diploma in Fine Art. This was based in the North Kent College. She went on to complete a foundation course in art and design in 2007.
