Nicky Mac

Nicky Mac is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores emotion, instinct, and the unseen forces that move through us. Her practice is intuitive and symbolic, guided by feeling, allowing each piece to emerge as a vessel of presence rather than mere representation.

Working across traditional mediums such as acrylics and oils over textured surfaces, she creates visual languages that sit between the earthly and the ethereal. Recurring equine forms appear not as subjects, but as embodiments of power, movement, and inner knowing.

Her recent body of work, Skyborn, introduces a series of elemental horses shaped by storm, fire, wind, and earth. Within this series, each form carries its own force, yet remains part of a greater whole, reflecting themes of unity, transformation, and collective strength, illuminating the unseen and bringing light to the darkness.
