Nicola Badger

After a career in Art Education I have returned to my own art practice.At the heart of my practice lies a deep connection to myth, story, and place, which serve as enduring inspirations for my art.
My work is an experimental fusion of diverse processes and materials. Currently, I focus on paper-based creations that incorporate techniques such as drawing, encaustic wax, gold leaf, stitching, cyanotype photography, and text. I also book bind, creating single-edition book works and limited-edition prints.
