Nicola Brindicci

Nicola Brindicci started taking photographs at an early age but has never lost sight of art, sculpture and modern painting, his sources of inspiration, as is architecture, which forms part of his studies. After a long break he resumed photography whilst on a trip to Hungary and later continued in other locations. The artist's evocative images are surprising in their ability to capture tiny details on film; elements that are almost insignificant become transfigured by his gaze. Small things reveal themselves in their natural harmony, in their transience, in their visionary presence, almost as stopping moments of the soul rather than nature itself. Brindicci often proposes visions of dawn, because he wants to communicate the fact that each day can always be a magical "start" to life.
