Nicole Yazolino

My journey started over 25 years ago as an opera singer, and though I experienced some of the greatest vocal operatic and song masterpieces of all time, I had a drive to embody my whole artist self beyond performance - my soul yearned to create. Thus began my departure from an opera-focused career in 2010 as I pivoted to focus on writing my own music and painting.

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA, and have lived in Berlin, Germany, since 2009. I've spent my life dedicated to creation, learning, growth, transformation, the arts, and exploring what it means to be human. I've experienced and expressed. I've made much music, thought, shared, painted, written, learned languages, met people, loved.

One of the things I cherish most is the international cross-section of humanity I've been immersed in since moving to Berlin. Exposure to the world through the eyes of its people is the best way to walk a path of understanding and compassion.

I create using the broad spectrum of frequencies I experience in the world - whether it's painting or writing music... or Gesamtkunstwerk putting them together.
