Pawel Niedwica

As a multidisciplinary artist, he explores procedural modeling to discover innovative ways of interacting with the canvas. His work combines acrylic paint with a unique application technique using a hand-assembled plotter. Additionally, some pieces are crafted entirely by hand using self-designed tools and custom brushes with paint reservoirs. By experimenting with the physics of color and composition, he introduces fresh, captivating methods for constructing graphic elements in contemporary painting.

"My practice merges computational precision with organic physical execution. Each piece is built upon rigorous color theory, featuring custom-mixed background gradients and unique paint formulas developed in my studio. Far from being purely automated, my process relies heavily on extensive work, precise manual adjustments, and direct interaction with the canvas. The resulting optical patterns cannot be digitally replicated; they exist purely as physical, vibrating fields of color."
