Nienke Koedijk is a Dutch fine art and documentary photographer based in Haarlem. Educated in Illustration and Sculpture at the Willem de Kooning Academy, she approaches photography as an intuitive act of discovery, working predominantly without staging to reveal unexpected moments hidden within everyday life.
Her work explores alienation, belonging and the fragile space where beauty and darkness coexist. Moving through ordinary landscapes, urban environments and overlooked places, she creates atmospheric images in which light, architecture, nature and human presence converge with quiet intensity. Characterised by poetic realism and subtle ambiguity, her photographs invite viewers to slow down and encounter the extraordinary within the familiar.
Bachelor in Design - Willem de Kooning Academie
In 2026 Koedijk was selected as one of the 100 international emerging photography talents and featured in FRESH EYES 2026 by GUP Magazine and exhibited at Haute Photographie Rotterdam during Rotterdam Art Week. Her work has also been presented at Art-Icon in Paris.
