Nikki’s artistic journey has been driven by a deep passion for the natural world and a desire to raise awareness about environmental issues.
Through her artwork, Nikki aims to capture the intricate details and breathtaking landscapes that exist in our surroundings. She believes that nature possesses a profound beauty that can awaken a sense of wonder and inspire a connection to the Earth. By focusing on the fragile ecosystems found in tidepools or the vanishing glaciers of the Arctic, Nikki seeks to remind viewers of the delicate balance of our planet and the urgent need for preservation.

In her exploration of both oil painting and photography, Nikki employs different artistic techniques to convey her message. Her oil paintings reveal a rich and vivid palette, with brushstrokes that evoke a sense of movement and life within the natural elements. Through the layering of colors and textures, she creates a tactile and immersive experience for the viewer.

In contrast, her photographic works capture the essence of fleeting moments in nature. With a keen eye for composition and lighting, Nikki seeks to freeze these transient scenes in time, allowing viewers to contemplate the beauty that exists within the everyday world. Her photograph...

Nikki graduated from The University for the Creative arts in London, United Kingdom after receiving a distinction in Fashion Illustration, Journalism, Marketing and Photography. She went on to study further extensive programs in Photography through The International Centre of Photography in New York as well as multiple private studies with personal mentors in the Photography industry. Nikki has been shooting professionally for 30 years in London, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and now Vancouver.

Her painting studies have spanned 3 decades since leaving art school, practicing in mixed media, acrylic and now primarily oil.
