Nkem Odeh-Ifeyinwa is a visual artist born in Ile - Ife, Osun State but from Ika - South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria by origin . He is a graduate of the Fine and Applied Art Department also known as the Ife Art School of Obafemi Awolowo University.
Nkem's expressions hovers around Figurativism. He executes this art genre mostly in mixed media, where he juxtaposes newsprints, oil paints, acrylics conte and pastel to create his forms and elucidate his visual expressions. These includes his life experiences, societal issues and also nature and its beauty.
He is currently exploring the use of discarded aluminium foil and other painting medium to document and tell stories which are based on his visual experience.His exploration further underscores the importance of recycle, waste and Junk to Art.
