Mykhailo Novikov

Hi, my name is Mikhail Novikov! I was born and have lived my whole life in Kharkiv — this city is my home and a source of inspiration. I graduated from the Academy of Design and Fine Arts, where creativity is always in the air and sparks new ideas. This constant creative exchange with other artists and students pushes me to experiment and try new things in painting.

I love working with oils, but I often use acrylics too, especially for imprimatura. This helps make the colors more vibrant and achieve smoothness and depth in my paintings. I create both easel works and large-scale murals for my hometown — I love transforming walls and sharing this with people around me.

In 2013, I graduated from the Kharkiv Academic Art Lyceum. In 2018, I completed my studies at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts, specializing in monumental painting. Since 2019, I have been working as a teacher of academic drawing at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts, where I continue to share my passion for art with students. That same year, I began my postgraduate studies at the Academy, further deepening my knowledge and practice within the creative environment that inspires me every day.
