Niko Kirkos

Niko Kirkos is the creative tandem of Mykola Bilousov (born in 1948) and Stanislav Kirkilevskyi (born in 1990), formed in 2017.

Niko Kirkos specializes in digital painting. Fillings from their works are very close to traditional painting in their aesthetic, because they use classical means of expressiveness. In addition to this, the author's style is complemented by modern digital technologies: changing of color tone under covering layer, multilayer editing and possibility of combining the textures of different writing tools.

In digital painting, as in any pictorial system, there is a main forming element with which the artist develops different sensation. Color plays that role in Niko Kirkos’ paintings. A large range of color variations in the same composition leads to a change in visual and emotional perception. This helps viewer to re-arrange and look at different angles for the same composition presented in the picture.

In 2018 works of duet were presented at personal exhibition in Nu Art gallery.
