Mercedes Nunez

I am a Cuban born visual artist, my body of work is in painting, mixed media, collage works-on-paper, photography, and artist books. My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is in the permanent collection of Bridgewater State University and in private collections throughout the U.S. I am currently an artist member at IFA: Imago Gallery of Art and Fine Craft, Warren, RI.
I am a tenured Professor in the Department of Art and Art History, Bridgewater State University, Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and currently reside in Bellingham, Massachusetts, located in the historic Blackstone River Valley.

I studied Art and Architecture at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY and hold BFA and MFA degrees from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL.
