Omar Obaid is an abstract artist based in West London, creating original paintings full of expression, emotion and designed for collectors who value craftsmanship, atmosphere and individuality in their homes.

Omar Obaid is one of the most sought-after bestselling British abstract artists. Omar enjoys creating large artwork filled with movement and colour. His abstract work is inspired by everyday life. This can be seen in his artwork from the strong gestures and movements in his brush strokes.

Omar's journey into abstract expressionism started in a more traditional way – sketchbooks, classical drawing, experimenting with compositions. Over time, Omar realised what truly excited him wasn’t the rules, but the moments he broke them. The imperfect marks. The colours that shouldn’t work together, but somehow did. The feeling of paint moving across canvas before Omar had time to overthink it.

As well as producing new paintings to add to his collection, Omar works on large custom paintings and commissions with private and commercial clients across the world to create unique abstracts for home and office space.
