Oded Berghaus

Dear viewers
As a child, my dream was to become a fireman.  While waiting for my dream to come true I spent 
most of my  time sketching and drawing.  At school I used to draw even in my copybooks and 
wherever I found an empty space.
When I left school I joined the army and served for three years in a combat unit.  All this time, 
during my army service, I was drawing whenever I could, enjoying it.
I never thought that my art will become so important and a center issue in my life. I realized that I 
have to explore and widen my knowledge in the field. Therefore I decided to study in an Israeli 
college for fine arts Faculty of Arts - Hamidrasha.
As I graduated I took a position of an art teacher and for 10 years I was teaching people with 
special needs.
During the years i exhibit my art work in several galleries and alternative spaces.
I look at my art as a tool to discover and explore the greatness and mystery of life.
