Artist Bio
Olga Casanova is a Spanish visual artist who grew up in Valencia, surrounded by Mediterranean light. After graduating in Graphic Design in London, Olga felt a strong desire to express herself through analog collage. She immediately connected with a hands-on process that allows her to bring texture, emotion, chaos, and human imperfection into her work.
Fueled by a desire to be present, to embrace imperfection, and to spark meaningful conversations, Olga creates contemporary mixed-media collages that invite pause and self-reflection. Her artworks have been featured in exhibitions and creative platforms, and she leads art and movement workshops, creating spaces for self-expression and collective connection.
Artist Statement
My work emerges from a need to reconnect with myself, my body, and my emotions. I work primarily with paper, found images, and hand-painted textures to create minimal compositions rich in contrast. The slow, manual process allows me to listen deeply, letting each piece unfold intuitively rather than conceptually. In this way, collage becomes a meditative practice.
My work invites presence and contemplation, opening a quiet path toward connection.
