Photography as a visual means of expression is the only form I have known which has allowed me to record the things that I find so life-affirming. Instinct is what guides me when I am photographing out on the street, so that at times it can have an almost predatory quality. I don't want to invade a person's space, but I am also keenly aware that there is very little privacy to be had.
Currently a BA (candidate) in Studio Art with a concentration in photography, The City College of New York, I also studied at Parsons The New School for Design, New York City.
The Educational Alliance of New York is where I spent much time between colleges and is where I learned to print, and really matured as a photographer, as well as taught a black and white printing course.
