Olga Gobernik Kon

I create works on transparent tempered glass, using both mosaic and stained-glass techniques. Natural light passes through the surface and transforms each piece throughout the day. I call this process “painting in glass.”

Light becomes my co-author. It refracts through layered fragments and colored surfaces, creating depth, movement, and emotional resonance. My works are illuminated from within by sunlight, making them dynamic and ever-changing.

My practice explores balance — between structure and spontaneity, fragility and strength, silence and intensity. Each piece begins with a drawing and evolves through an intuitive dialogue with glass.
