Artist Olga Hotujac’s contemporary abstract paintings feature the bold use of color and texture. Working in oil, Hotujac builds the heavy texture of color using a pallet knife along with forming waves in the canvas fabric itself, that together seamlessly blend into the paintings structure.
Olga Hotujac studied at the Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry in Moscow, Russia, completing a Masters of Fine Arts degree in 2006. Since that time she has established herself professionally, developing a unique brush stroke that is instantly recognizable, and her paintings can be found in private art collections around the world. Olga Hotujac currently lives and works in Santa Barbara, California.
