Omobusola Ajayi

I am a Nigerian contemporary artist whose work focuses on portraiture, identity, and emotional storytelling. I explore how realism can communicate inner strength, memory, and the layers of human experience.

I work primarily with charcoal, acrylic, and pastel, often blending them with digital-inspired elements (QR-code) patterns. They appear not just as design, but as symbols of modern identity, data, and the hidden stories people carry.
My Pieces are fully functional, they basically come to life!
This experience allows viewers to connect with my work on a deeper level… Visually, Emotionally and Conceptually.

I believe art should make people feel something. My goal is to create pieces that stay with viewers long after they’ve left the frame.
