Ondrej Belica

Ondrej Belica is a visual artist and sculptor working at the intersection of contemporary art, architecture and material research. His work explores the relationship between steel, water, light, time and space.

He explores the relationship between material, natural phenomena and perception. His works originate from simple interventions that allow water, gravity, light, time and the surrounding space to become active participants in the artwork. Rather than creating static objects, he establishes situations in which materials continuously record, reflect and reveal the forces acting upon them.

The artwork becomes a sensitive interface between material, environment and perception.
