Can Yesiloglu

Born in İzmir in 1981, Can Yeşiloğlu (OnstOn) is an independent visual artist working across painting, illustration, and animation. Centering his artistic focus on subconscious imagery, surrealist narratives, and utopian-dystopian worldbuilding from an early age, he has contributed to numerous multidisciplinary exhibitions alongside various independent art collectives.

His creative practice encompasses paper, canvas, and found objects, defined by graphite pencil, ink, acrylics, mixed media, and dense, intricate linework.

Yeşiloğlu held solo exhibitions in Istanbul, including Ottomatic Dreams (G-Art Gallery, 2013) and Planet OnstOn (Galeri Bu, 2019). His work has been featured in various national and international platforms, such as the London International Surrealism Festival and TÜYAP Artist.

Extending his interdisciplinary vision into short filmmaking, the artist has directed two award-winning animated short films: NO! (2020) and Life in Dreams (2023). His films continue to be screened at international festivals and competitions worldwide.
