Philippe Orsero

Philippe Orsero is a French contemporary artist whose practice bridges painting, photography, mixed media, and digital creation. Since the late 1990s, after training in visual arts and immersion in digital technologies, he has explored the boundaries between sacred iconography, science, and cyberspace. Winner of the City of Montpellier First Prize (1999), Orsero’s hybrid style blends canvas, aluminum, digital, and holographic formats. His work questions the transformation of body and mind in a world saturated with images, data, and artificial intelligence. Each piece can exist in multiple forms and states, following an evolutionary approach. Orsero’s art combines irony, social critique, and poetic paradox, inviting viewers to reflect on the relationship between humanity, machines, and the image in the digital age.
