Petra Fernandes

Portuguese visual artist exploring the human body as a site of emotion, memory, and transformation. With roots connected to Angola, her work reflects on identity, displacement, and belonging, often expressed through raw, gestural lines and fragmented forms.

Working primarily with drawing, she develops a minimalist yet expressive visual language, where imperfection and movement become central elements. Her practice is driven by an intuitive process, seeking to translate inner states into visual form.
