Pakize Aras

I work on the invisible connections between humans, animals, and nature. The tension between the inner and outer body, the visible and the hidden; concepts of consciousness and transformation are central to my practice. My works aim to exist as pauses that invite the viewer to stop and question.

I began my art education in the Painting Department of a Fine Arts High School. I graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Anadolu University. Since my graduation, I have taken part in various exhibitions and events and produced sculptural works for public spaces. I continue my practice as an independent artist.

I have taken part in various exhibitions and art fairs in İzmir, Istanbul, and Antalya. My works have been exhibited in public spaces in England and Bodrum. I have also participated in various painting exhibitions in earlier periods.
