Pascal Furlan

I'm Pascal Furlan, a French contemporary figurative and impressionist painter, working with acrylic on canvas in my studio in Lot-et-Garonne, France.
My work explores memory, travel, music, couples, and landscapes. Everything started in 1990, during my military service in Djibouti, where I discovered markets, caravans, and sunsets over the desert. These images stayed with me, and they still resurface in my paintings today.
I paint what memory holds when time passes. Scenes of life, suspended moments, late afternoon lights. Impressionism is my language: visible brushstrokes, vivid colors, light and shadow play, evocative shapes rather than purely descriptive ones.
My work is referenced in the Akoun directory, the international index of rated artists, since 2017. I create original artworks and accept personalized commissions, transforming my clients' photos and memories into paintings.
