As a trained Art Therapist, I subscribe to the healing characteristics of art and how art practice can give voice and clarity to contemporary issues.

With the intrusion of the twenty-four-hour news cycle and social media in people’s lives, My art practice is increasingly informed by local and world events around the environment, politics and women’s issues, where there is a sense that reports being widely distributed are fluid, chancy, uncertain and lack balance. My response is to create patchworks of protests to unpack and examine what I see and hear.

I constantly experimenting with different medium but find that I am increasingly drawn to ceramics, collage and painting to produce my contemporary works.

University of Wollongong - Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Art Major, Photography Minor)
University of Western Sydney - Master of Art Therapy.

Currently have a piece showing at Wollongong Art Gallery in their "Flow" watercolour prize exhibition where my entry was "Commended". The exhibition is on till March 2022. Details can be found at http://www.wollongongartgallery.com/exhibitions/Pages/Artist-Information.aspx
