I live in the UK and I am a self-trained artist. I hope that viewers will enjoy the range and the style of my work on show.

My passion for art exploded three years ago whilst attending life drawing sessions in London as I found painting therapeutic. I initially started to experiment with different mediums working in my studio at home and participating in plein-air sessions with friends. I discovered early on that my true interest and enthusiasm was, and still is, portrait painting and I mainly work with acrylics.

Portraits have an immediate appeal as images that provide insights into the lives and ambitions of people that we are curious about. They provide that special moment in time, can be a talking point, are classic, ageless and become a cherished household possession. Even during unrest and changing fashions people still create, and sit for, painted portraits. As for me, I enjoy the discipline, experimentation, and discovery.
