Patricia Reis

Patrícia Reis is a Portuguese contemporary abstract artist whose work explores memory, nature, spirituality and transformation through intuitive painting. Guided by dreams, personal experiences and the invisible dialogue between the natural world and the human soul, she creates paintings that invite contemplation rather than explanation.

Working primarily with acrylic, oil and mixed media on canvas, Patricia builds layered compositions where texture, colour and gesture become visual traces of time, emotion and inner landscapes. Each work is an invitation to pause, feel and discover a personal meaning, allowing every viewer to bring their own memories and experiences into the painting.

Originally trained in Artistic Ceramics at Escola Artística António Arroio in Lisbon, she also spent several years working in the field of Conservation and Restoration before dedicating herself entirely to painting. This experience deepened her appreciation for materiality, history and the passage of time, elements that continue to shape her artistic language.
