Patricia Santos

Patricia “Chai” Santos is a self-study artist from Arayat, Pampanga. She initially discovered painting as a form of catharsis from the routine, eventually into a creative outlet drawing from the plethora of experiences throughout her life. Patricia preferred medium is oil and soft pastels. Her work touches on a variety of subjects, whose main mantra is inspired by the pursuit of light in seemingly dark and melancholic scenarios. She describes herself as a realist with a mix of impressionism—which is evident in her paintings through the selection of subjects and settings. Her goal is to breathe life even in the most ordinary scenes.
