Patrick Beilman

I was born in Colorado,moved to Chicago and now live in the Milwaukee area.

During the 1970s, I was deeply involved with artist stamps, correspondence art, and mail art. After earning my MFA in drawing and painting, I served as an adjunct instructor at local universities while managing other work to support my family, eventually founding a remodeling and construction company with skills I acquired working construction jobs when I needed work. Due to the demands of my professional life, I transitioned my creative focus to sketchbooks, photography, and the use of desktop scanners. Since retiring from full-time work in the early 2020s, I have devoted myself entirely to my art.

My current practice includes drawing, painting, and digital prints, often exploring the interplay between these mediums. I value the freedom to explore diverse styles and forms of expression to find meaning and passion, and I hope to share that sense of engagement with the viewer. My work has been included in numerous public and private collections.
