Paula Varona

I was born in Málaga, Spain in 1963 and spent my first years in Cádiz. At the age of 16 I moved to London where I finished high school and started my art studies at the Foundation Course School of Arts, Saint Martins School of Art, until 1988.
After finishing Art School I travelled through Japan and United States of Merica, returning to Spain in 1989, establishing definitely in madrid. I married Iñigo and we have three kids: Iñigo, Lucas y Beltrán.
I love to paint urban landscapes and the sea.
I love cities, they are full of ideas, sensations, games of proportion , contrasts, hidden laws and secret clues. I´ve painted Lisbon, La Habana, New York, Barcelona and lots of Madrid.
