Pedro Mesquita

Born in Porto in 1977, Pedro Mesquita cemented his artistic technique based on the research, use and manipulation of industrial materials constantly present in the daily life we inhabit. The search for new techniques through the overlapping of chromatic bases and different textures define their work, revealing a constant exploration of the different behaviors and characteristics of the materials and their relation to each other.
The three-dimensionality of the author's work, achieved through the manipulation of materials are illustrative of the most recent artistic period of Pedro Mesquita's work, where geometric austerity and industrial conceptualism mark a return to the daily life of the individual.
