My practice begins with intuitive line drawing — unplanned, unforced, perfectly unfinished. The compositions arrive through the hand rather than the mind: crowds, figures, creatures, scenes that find themselves.
From these drawings a second act begins. I render them through the visual languages of the Old Masters — Rembrandt, Leonardo, Dali, Degas, Van Gogh, Seurat, Picasso — not as imitation but as conversation. The same thought in a different accent. What remains essential and what dissolves under stylistic pressure.
The result is work that feels simultaneously timeless and contemporary.
