Gina Adams

I am a passionate emerging artist, inspired by my journey of self-discovery. I relied on my passion, creativity, imagination and perseverance to develop my skills through hands-on experimentation. My artwork resonates deeply with personal experiences and feelings, as well as, universal human emotions. Serving as a form of self expression, catharsis or communication. I use specific colors and/or shapes to express symbolism/meaning, and a variety of brushstrokes to create depth, texture and movement. My artwork delves into themes of perseverance, love, joy and wellbeing. My intention is to create a powerful connection with the viewer to experience and reflect on their own emotions. I believe that even though we are unique individuals, we are connected by our emotions and feelings.

I am a self-taught artist, constantly exploring and developing standard and unique techniques to create artwork. Without formal training, I developed my skills through hands-on experimentation, online tutorials, art classes and exploring artworks at galleries and museums.

Two of my paintings exhibited August 1-31, 2025 at AXIS Art Gallery’s 20th juried exhibition of summer 2025. The exhibition was juried by Nancy Lim, an associate curator at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

As of August 2024, I have two paintings on display at Atrium 916, a creative innovation center in Sacramento, California. My artwork is also on their e-commerce site at sacramento.shop/persevereandcreate.
