Petal J Roberts

Born Georgetown, Guyana (then British Guiana), South America 1944. Moved to UK 1955, to Denmark 1968, to Sweden 1971 where now resident.

Basically a narrator, inspired by ancient legends, European or now especially of those from my former compatriots in South America. Work in all media, except video (but have made film about local artists). Unless otherwise stated, all photographs by Ulf Leijon. Photographs of Numerical Symbolism by artist herself.

Artistic education at Edinburgh: University and College of Art 1963-68: MA Hons Fine Art. Exhibited in Rostock, Barcelona, Vilnius and round and about in Sweden.
