I traveled the world pursuing career tracks first in Publishing and then in the frontier of Computers. I don't do that any more. Having done my time I can now follow my passion.

Women have a right to find personal fulfillment. This is my moment. It begins when it begins, whenever that is, wherever I am.

I learn from books, from other artists, from observation.

I have had the great fortune of studying with two accomplished professional artists: Edward Povey and Graydon Parrish. In 2012 I was invited to join The Austin Atelier by Edward Povey and Donna Tolar Schultz. Weekly study of art theory, classical techniques, museum archival materials and studio practice launched my art into a serious pursuit. I now have the privilege of working under Graydon Parrish's direction in his Austin studio. My education continues.
