About Pascal Giroud

I particularly like the outdoor painting, my paintings are done "alla prima" over a relatively short session to capture the atmosphere of the place and the moment. From an early age I have always been attracted by the painting of the nineteenth and post-impressionist painters such as Corot. At the age of 25 I do my my first exhibitions in the city of Lyon and the Gallery Jacques Royan expose some of my paintings. At this time, I meet the painters Pascale Paradis, Norbert Vaginay and André Disdier who expose at the Gallery de Olympe in Lyon, every week I wear my work and their teaching is of great help, I owe them a lot in the development of my painting. In 2008 I fully devote myself to painting and I started my career as a professional painter. I'm moving in Provence and in 2010 I open my workshop in Sisteron.
