I am an artist who “looks up” to find my way, marvel at the world and breathe. My art is a reflection of my examination of clouds, experiments with pareidolia (recognizing shapes, figures, and objects), and toying with media in provocative ways such as the placement of steampunk inspired objects, ideas and tools to disrupt the calm, challenge the norm, and provoke possibilities.
Ph.D. in art education from the Pennsylvania State University.
Taught at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond VA; The University of Georgia, Athens; Radford University, Radford, VA; and Penn State. Also curated a number of exhibitions and did research in Doha, Qatar.
