Anthony Mills

As a Research Scientist i have worked with Photoshop since its inception in the early 80's; but that was purely at the scientific level. At about that same time i started serious photography, as a hobby and relaxation strategy from my work. My photography is purely self-taught and learnt from observation and practice; i've always strived to produce something a little different from my photos, and that's where my experience with Photoshop and other digital analysis/manipulative programs came in useful. With my work here i'm enhancing my plant photography to bring out patterns and textures.

Science education 1st degree and a research-based higher degree, both in Cambridge, UK. No formal Art-based education ;-)

Most of my exhibitions have been based in wildlife institutes and centres as much of my subject matter is nature and wildlife.
