With the new series, CAMOUFLAGE, I begin to explore a new idea, a concept that has turned into this project, the review of a universal icon, by way of a figure on the background, from a post-impressionist viewpoint.

The starting point lies in the recreation of an “iconic” image, and through it the challenge is posed of achieving feedback capable of redrawing traditional registers such as impressionism, abstraction and figuration. With this new approach, I aspire simultaneously to interpret another, new one - one I will materialize through the play on forms and interventions captured on the canvas, as “tracks” spectators can catch a glimpse of, in which they will recognise this universal image.
The name that crowns the project resides in this practice.
