I love to experiment and explore different styles and techniques in my work. I love street photography as much as fine art or more abstract photography. It's a constant evolution and I love going from one style to another depending on how I feel.

I love street photography, because for me it’s all about being surprised. It's like going on a small journey into the unknown. I never plan, but I always look for three things. Good light, a great moment, and good frame. It’s rare to get the three at the same time.

Thank to my background in documentary film making, I learnt how to train my eye, to anticipate a scene. It’s like a muscle, where I try to remain aware of my environment. I don’t look for a picture, I wait for the picture to come to me. There is spiritual element to it, where you can’t force anything. You have to allow for things to happen and be ready.

I also love experimenting especially when the camera becomes a paintbrush, as I want to blur the frontier between photography and painting. I use a slow shutter speed to let more light and quick camera movements, to create a ghostly effect. It’s a lot of trial and error to get the right amount of blur.
