Poiana Marian

Marian Poiana originally from Targu Jiu,Romania, currently based in Bucharest
Since graduation I ve worked as a graphic artist,animator, lead artist for couple of company's ProTV, INDG, Ubisoft, MIlestone,Safeframe.
From 2001 I started to work as a classical 2d animator ( Mr Bean, Angelina Ballerina,Lars the polar bear ).
In 2015 I won the Animest( international animation festival ) -Best Short Animated Movie with "Voyage" a 8 minutes animated 3D production, made entirely by myself.
Since 2017 I'm working at my second animated short "A Hollow Life" as a director, animator and production manager, film in production, due to be finished in 2019.
With all my busy schedule I always find time, daily, to paint , to be involved with my craft as a painter, being the only constant in my life.
From last year, 2018, I started a new painting project "Rural Lights" .A landscape based study away from the city s busy life. A place for introspection and quiet contemplation. Soon enough I'll start posting works from this project.
